Is it mandatory to obtain a visa to enter the UAE?

It is mandatory for all non-residents of the UAE to obtain a visa to travel to the UAE, except for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait.

Citizens visiting Dubai from certain countries in Europe, North America, and the Far East can obtain a visa on arrival. These countries include Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Iceland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal, Israel, the UK, and the USA. Since the list of eligible countries may change, it is recommended to always check with the embassy or airline before traveling.

To apply for a visa, you need to provide the first page of your passport (for some nationalities, the second page may also be required) and a clear passport-sized photo with a white background.

In some cases, additional documents may be required, such as an identity card or ID card. Our visa specialist will contact you if any additional documents are necessary.

The visa obtained for Dubai is also valid for Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.

Although visa processing in the UAE is fast and straightforward, it is always recommended to apply in advance.
